desert color

Desert color is a colored pencil painting done on paper.   I was interested in the different colors of the prickly pear cactus at the end of the day.
It is a 16.5-inch by 21.5-inch drawing.  I have it matted and framed to 20.5 inches by 25.5 inches, and the art is under glass.
