turquoise cow skull

This cow skull was found in reasonable shape with some damage to the horns. It is about 16 inches long, 16 inches wide (including the horns) and 7 inches tall.   This skull is overlaid with turquoise blue beads to accent the surface contours of the skull. Additional designs have been created with silver beadwork, framing circular regions in which larger, turquoise-colored stones are inlaid, enhancing the skull's decorative appeal. The skull's additional color of silver, as well as its teeth, contrast with the bright beads creating a striking visual dichotomy. This piece of art melds the organic with the ornate, showcasing a fusion of natural and artistic elements.
